We love the original European birch that we've been making our birthday boards in for quite a while. But some people have asked us for more options, and so we've found a way to do that!
We still use the same European Birch, but we're now applying various stains to it. This means that we keep the same beautiful and high quality veneer, but have additional stunning options!
We also finish them with a high quality, furniture grade semi-gloss lacquer - it gives it the stunning sheen you can see in the photos! And it also gives the final wood a beautiful feel too. You know us - we're perfectionists and always making our products better - and we're really happy with our current wood finishing techniques!
A beautiful light coloured wood. This is a popular option and goes with pretty much all homes! The white tree and name nicely compliment the wood, and the black printing makes for a beautiful contrast.
It's oldy-worlde and stunning. A yellowy brown that will take your imagination away to any winery. Paired with white features and white printing, it's beautiful for many homes!

Much deeper and darker, with brown and red tones! This is a beautiful option for those who like it darker. Works beautifully with white or gold features and white printing.
In 2021, we had a limited edition run of a black family tree birthday board which was popular and many people have asked for more! We've been unable to source more of the same special veneer, but we've come close with this Black Japan stain. It's got a beautiful and dark look, without being completely black!
