These chopping boards are 33cm wide by 22cm tall, and are made from carbonised bamboo. We won't lie - we source these from everyone's favourite swedish megachain, to ensure they are good quality.
The boards are shipped in a calico bag for easy and eco-friendly gifting.
These are laser engraved, which engraves about 0.5-1mm into the surface of the board, and turns the bottom of the engraving dark. After engraving we sand the boards and apply a food safe mineral oil, and then wash with soap and water before packing and shipping to you.
Please make sure you wash these boards thoroughly after use, to prevent buildup in the engraved parts of the board. You can scrub these really well as the engraving won't come off. Do not put them in the dishwasher as this can cause the timber to split. Oiling with a food safe oil available from good kitchen stores will prolong its life.
Once you place your order, and send through your recipe, we'll prepare the artwork for your review. We generally use the fonts that you see in the photo - we can switch them out if you'd like - but we will arrange this with you during approval.
We always send proofs before engraving! So we'll make sure you get what you want.
We ship these via tracked parcel post for free. We have a maximum lead time of two weeks for these, but generally we have them in the post much faster than this!
