Children use the wooden stylus to practise the Peggy Lego Pre Writing Pattern prompts. Aims to support the development of pencil control, letter formation and motor memory.
Wooden board with shaped grooves to practise writing using a stylus (a "dummy" pencil - contains no ink or lead - which is included). Supplied in a beautiful calico bag for storage!
These are designed in collaboration with a local primary school teacher! They previously sold them under the brand "Count by Nature", although they were always manufactured by us. As they have closed their business, they have generously allowed us to continue to sell these boards.
They use the NSW foundation writing style. We don't currently have these in any other fonts, but if we have enough requests, we may also licence and set these up too!
These boards are A4 in size, so they'll fit conveniently with all of your other educational items! They're made from plain MDF, to reduce distractions when you use them. The stylus is made from Tasmanian Oak dowel, carefully prepared to a nice point, but not too sharp of a point. The MDF is sealed to ensure the longevity of the board.
Supplied with a calico bag for safe storage!
